世界杯青少年绘画大赛是全球唯一由联合国儿童基金会支持、加拿大青少年艺术发展基金会发起的世界级青少年儿童绘画艺术的盛会，素来被誉为绘画艺术的“奥林匹克”。世界杯青少年现场绘画大赛以“友爱、梦想、环保”为主题，每年举办一届，自2012年第一届大赛启动以来，至今已经成功举办七届，吸引了来自中国、法国、美国、加拿大等50多个国家和地区的超过10万名青少年参与，在国际上具有广泛的影响力。今年，第八届大赛虽受疫情影响，仍共收到了来自世界各地的数千幅参赛作品。除了吸引世界各地青少年们的踊跃参与，大赛还获得了来自美术协会、中央画院等专业机构的极大关注，以及加拿大总督、总理、各国领事馆、各国艺术家、各国媒体的大力支持。美国华商促进会为第八届世界杯青少年绘画大赛美国赛区承办和征集方。

为保证大赛的专业性和权威性，组委会邀请知名画家、美院教授等专家评委和陪审老师，分初评、复评和终评三个阶段对参赛作品进行评审，从主题诠释、色彩搭配、创意构思、构图要素、基础技法、画面效果等综合角度进行层层评判。美国赛区出线的优秀奖作品33幅，最终在全球各地提交的三千多优秀作品的统一评比中，获得了一等奖1幅 、二等奖2幅 、三等奖9幅 、单项奖（最佳构图奖，最佳技法奖，以及最佳创意奖和最佳色彩奖）各1幅的优良成绩。

所有参赛的小朋友都将获得带有联合国儿童基金会加拿大分会认证的证书，获奖的小朋友将获得全球认证的获奖证书，这一份来自联合国颁发的权威认证，无疑给孩子的未来增加了一份闪闪发光的证明。 美国华商促进会还将为获得了一、二、三等奖和单项奖的少年儿童颁发丰厚的奖品。

The Youth Painting World Cup is a world-class youth and children’s art event supported by UNICEF and initiated by the Canadian Youth Art Development Foundation. It has been regarded as the “Painting Olympics”. The Youth Painting World Cup is held once a year and is centered around the themes of friendship, dreams, and environmentalism. It has been successfully held seven times since its launch in 2012 and has welcomed more than 100,000 participants from 50 countries and regions. This year, despite a global pandemic, we received thousands of entries from across the world. The competition has been acclaimed by professional organizations such as the Fine Arts Association and the Central Academy of Painting in China, as well as by the Canadian Governor and Prime Minister, consulates of various countries, artists, and international media. This year, the ACBPA hosted the 8th World Cup Youth Drawing Competition in the United States.

In order to ensure the professionalism and authority of the competition, the organizing committee invited well-known painters, professors from the Academy of Fine Arts, and other expert judges and teachers to evaluate the entries in three stages: preliminary evaluation, re-evaluation and final evaluation. Judgements were made according to criteria such as creative conception, composition, and technical ability. The 33 outstanding works that qualified in the U.S. competition ultimately won 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 9 third prizes, and 4 individual prizes in the unified evaluation of more than 3,000 outstanding artworks submitted from all over the world.

All participants will receive a certificate with the UNICEF Canada chapter certification and the winners will also receive a global certification award. The ACBPA will also award generous prizes to participants that won first, second, third, and individual awards.
